Presenting GW

Today was the Big day, at least for me and Jorge. Today we presented the work we have been doing for one month or more.
Our project was about finding some strategies to better integrate immigrants in the host societies, especially in Portugal, but while doing the research for the presentation we actually found out that our country is the best in the world to receive immigrants providing them the basic needs.
The presentation went very well, I think this time I could speak in such a way that everyone could listen and understand what I was saying, there were no mistakes and the teacher liked it, so what's better than that? Well, there is one more point that I want to make regarding to our presentation, the class was so interested (in such a way we were not excepting at all), that when we finished our presentation, it was raised a debate between the whole class, which would have continued if the class had no finished...

27th of November

I was eagerly waiting for this day, well not really this one, but the 26th of November because it was the day when New Moon would release in Portugal, but as I had tests on that week I could not go to watch it in the cinema on the day of the release, but only on the next.
On Friday (the 27th), I was looking at the watch the whole day and excepting it to mark 18:25, the time of the session I was going to assist. When I got there with my cousin and two friends of mine this session was full, so we had to go to the next session at 19:00. After buying the tickets, we had to spent there almost one hour and a half just window shopping. This time went really fast, we didn't even realize how it passed so quickly.
When we got into the theatre room it was completely full (it was nothing I didn't except). And the movie was just perfect, each and every scene was just as I had imagined and loyal to the book written by Stephanie Meyer (I also should say this one is my favourite from this series)

Interviewing Immigrants in Martim Moniz

On Wednesday (17th November) Jorge and I went to Martim Moniz to interview some immigrants that work there and I know.
When we got there, I tried to take some photos but it was almost impossible, because it's a place where people are very conservative and sometimes if we do things they don't like they begin to shout at us and humiliate too. By that time Jorge started (or tried to start) the interviews, but he was a bit "nervous" because he didn't know the person and didn't know what reaction my friend would have, so he kind of lowered his pace (also because my friend was looking at him suspiciously), in order to wait for me. Once I got there, my friend understood what was going on and started like joking and being friendly to Jorge, and so was Jorge.
Our field work went well, I can say, as we could make the two interviews we wanted and had planned for this day, the only thing we were not able to do was taking the photos, and those we could take were too blurred to show...

It has been years since they left and now they are coming back. I can't believe what my eyes are seeing! Firstly most of the people who went are alive and seem to be healthy. Secondly they have so many new thing, specially animals I have never seen and well, they are so fascinating, I had never dreamt of something like that.
I can see at least four animals that are new to me. I will describe the one that for me is the most beautiful, which is the lion. It's like a very big dog whose hair is brown. It has a very big crown around the face, but only some of them. And finally its teeth are the most frightening I've never seen, probably one bite and the person dies, but still its beauty is incomparable. The other ones are the elephant, hippo and the rhino, all of them very beautiful too.
Apart from the animals I am very happy that most of the men who went are back, because their families were so worried. I can't express how glad I am for seeing my father after a long time.
